This one I modified from a recipe given to me from Stevie's mom! I make it almost every weekend and keep it in the refrigerator in a casserole dish to heat up quickly in the microwave each morning for breakfast. Add nuts and berries and cold milk on top (or whatever you like to do with your oatmeal toppings).
Ingredients
- 2 cups steel cut oats
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups almond milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
